Noxstack Unfolded — People, Purpose, Platform

The Noxstack Team · Founders & builders· May 2026· 6 min read

A walk through why Noxstack exists, the neighbours and creators we built it for, and the platform principles we refuse to compromise on.

Every neighbourhood already has the people it needs — the baker two streets down, the maths tutor on the third floor, the plumber who actually shows up on time. The problem was never supply. The problem was that finding them required luck, a WhatsApp forward, or a friend-of-a-friend. Noxstack started as a stubborn answer to that — what if your street was searchable?

The people behind it

We are a small team of designers, engineers and operators who grew up watching parents run home businesses on paper notebooks. Tiffin services, tailoring units, salons working out of a garage. Every one of them was great at the craft, and every one of them lost customers because there was no easy way to be found by the people who actually lived nearby.

That memory is the compass for the whole product. When we argue about a feature, we ask: would this help Sneha get five more orders this week, or is it just another dashboard tile?

The purpose

Noxstack is a hyperlocal platform that puts creators and neighbours on equal ground. Creators get the tools to be discovered, status-share, and run their service. Neighbours get a real-time view of who is around, who is available right now, and who their block trusts.

  • Creators keep 100% of what they earn — no per-transaction commission, ever.
  • Neighbours discover people on their street first, not algorithmically distant brands.
  • Channels are local — #bakers-jubileehills is owned by the bakers of Jubilee Hills, not us.
  • Every status post auto-expires, so the feed is always current — never stale promises.

A flat fee, not a cut

On most platforms, the bigger you grow the bigger the bite. We chose ₹499/month flat so success belongs to the creator. The platform is infra — not a tax.

The platform

Underneath the friendly UI is real infrastructure: identity, location-aware search, channel routing, post lifecycles tied to live status, and an AI layer that understands what a neighbour is actually trying to do — not just keywords. Pro plan creators go a step further with custom dashboards (CRM, PoS, bookings) built around how their service really runs.

Software is just the medium. The product is trust — between people who already live near each other but had no easy way to meet.

Our north star

What's next

We are early. There are still cities to open, categories to onboard, and a hundred small frustrations to remove. But the principle is set, and the team is in. If this resonates with you, get in. The platform you join now is the one you help shape.
